I recently got some 24” rims 295/40R24 the front wheels rub mostly when I do left turns. Is it the tire size? I’ve seen other Avys on 26s! What should I do?

I am no tire expert so maybe one of the large wheel owners will respond soon.
I would go to a site like www.tirerack.com and compare rim and tire dimensions of a stock tire and rim setup to see how different your rim and tire setup is from stock. It may have issues due to rim offset or tire width.
Only fix I know is to try to stay near stock tire dimensions overall or to get a lift or modify the inside wheel well liner some.

Yeah, you have to be careful when it comes to wheel and tire sizes. Just because you see it, doesnt mean it can be done stock.

There are people who will destroy their vehicle for vanity purposes. And it's not uncommon for people to install oversized wheels and simply ignore the rubbing or learn to just not turn as tight. I've seen donked out vehicles needing to make 5 point turns in parking lots to turn around when they could only turn the wheel 1/3rd of a turn.

You need to identify what's rubbing. If it's the wheel liner, it can be modified or removed.

The wheels may be able to be offset to avoid the interior rubbing. This would have been something to look into when buying. Wheel spacers are not the greatest, but a solution none the less.

A small lift could help alleviate the problem.

I have these on my truck with 305/35R 24/112H tires...No rubbing at all

It was raining last night when I got these installed, so ignore the dirty everything lol!

I am running 24x9.5x30mm (offset) rims with 305/35/24 tires and no rub at full tilt.

With a 24" rim anything above a 35 series is going to rub unless you trim up the fender well liners. Most owners go either with a 295/35 or 305/35, doing 295/35R24 for mine since I'm going for a 2/4 drop and don't want any rubbing issues.
