Yeah, you have to be careful when it comes to wheel and tire sizes. Just because you see it, doesnt mean it can be done stock.
There are people who will destroy their vehicle for vanity purposes. And it's not uncommon for people to install oversized wheels and simply ignore the rubbing or learn to just not turn as tight. I've seen donked out vehicles needing to make 5 point turns in parking lots to turn around when they could only turn the wheel 1/3rd of a turn.
You need to identify what's rubbing. If it's the wheel liner, it can be modified or removed.
The wheels may be able to be offset to avoid the interior rubbing. This would have been something to look into when buying. Wheel spacers are not the greatest, but a solution none the less.
A small lift could help alleviate the problem.
