Does anyone know what parts of a 2005 2500hd 6” lift kit will fit on a avalanche 2500? I have a chance to get the lift kit for the hd cheap. Not wanting to get a new kit. $. As I am considering doing a sas on the front end eventually.

Is it a knuckle kit or does it drop the torsion bars on the t-case side?

I'm guessing many parts would be the same and even more if it's a knuckle kit instead of the torsion bar drop style. I know the frames of our trucks are different than the duramax trucks, my buddy has an LBZ and I just had it on the lift. Front suspension looked identical to mine. Duramax and 8.1 2500hd got the 11.5 ring gear 14 bolt. 2500 Avys and the 6.0s got the 10.5 (better axle I
IMO :geek:)
I would probably buy it either way if it's cheap enough though.

I have a Full Traction brand 6" lift that is for the 2500HD trucks on my 2500. So, if it's a good deal and in good shape jump on it. If you know the manufacture, go to their web site and see if you can print out the install manual which should also have the parts lists so you can see if its complete or missing parts which may or may not be available.

Our Av's pretty much will swap most suspension parts with the trucks, Suburban's and front end parts on the Hummer H2's. The H2's 14 bolt rear end will swap to 1500's with shock bracket modifications if you want a stronger rear end.

Thanks for the reply’s. I thought they would be the same. ( mostly anyway.) I’m not sure which style it is yet. I believe it is a rough country. But either way I have to do something, my tires are rubbing . Lol
