My 2006 had flares and I miss them, so I am going to install them on the 2013. However, I am not sure how they mount or what additional fasteners, etc. I need in addition to the flares.

Does anyone have exploded views from the GM body shop manual showing how the front and rear flares are attached/mounted on the 2nd generation Av?

Thanks,

Tom

Are you referring to the Z71 flares?

If you go to gmpartsdirect.com you can see what fasteners you need and the top part uses double-sided tape

Responded to your other thread;

I added some more info and some pics that hopefully help you out. I'm still waiting on my new parts but once I have them I can walk through the install process with ya.

I do still miss my 2006 Z71, but am moving on. Functional mods to date have included the K&N intake, Corsa Sport exhaust, and BFG AT KO2's. I also added the Stampede Bug Guard.

Now the major cosmetic mods have officially begun. :) Thus far, we have removed the front bumper cover, including the fog lights, along with the LTZ front fender liners. Here are some pics... Plans for this project include:
  • Z71 front fascia, bumper filler, fender liners, and fog lights
  • Z71 fender flares (front and rear)
  • Transmission oil cooler
  • Underbody skid plate
  • Weathertech mud flaps (front and rear), window guards, and sunroof deflector
  • Silver Star Ultras (high and low), Silver Star marker lamps, and ambers
