Well one of my friends need to pick up a air plane motor in Pocatello, ID 409 miles from La Grande (Each way) so we left on a thursday came back on a friday. There I got to eat at a Sonic which is the closest one to La Grande. Then I got home and left for Portland 257 miles each way. After being there 10 day and going to the coast 2 times the miles added up I pulled home and I now have 93,650 miles on my AV. I only had 1 problem in all those miles and that was on the last day before I had to drive home. I was leave Sand Lake, OR after Quading all day and my service engine soon light came on. So I took it to Bill Hoffman Chevrolet in Mollala, OR it was just an O2 Sensor $125.00 later I was back on the road. So after all that time in my AV I STILL WOULD NOT OWN ANY THING ELSE IN THE WORLD (y) So what the most miles you have ever put on your AV in the shortest amount of time?

Ohh yeah since Aug. of last year I have put 38,900 miles on my AV. I put new tires on it then and I thing I will have to get new tires @ 100,000 miles

I have 49000 on mine in 23 months. Every summer I drive up through the rockies to Great Falls, Montana (from Houston, TX). So in about 12 days we usually put on 5500 miles, then twice a year I drive up to MN, round trip is 2300 miles and I usually do that in 5-6 day turnaround.

Yeah, the Av can eat up those miles.

I put on 4500 Mi in one week! But fortunately that isn't done all the time.. I average under 8000 /year!

I took delivery of my Av on March 28, 2003. In July `03 I took the long trip. Orange Co. CA to Albuquerque (turned left like Bugs Bunny said). Went North toward the Black Hills, then to the Badlands Monument, back west to the Devil's Tower, Northwest through Glacier park, south to Yellowstone Park, So. through Evanston WY, Salt Lake City and south on 15 to home. Yep! did that in a week!

But the Av rest's in the garage most of the time, so the miles don't creep up. It's rarely out except for GTG's and trips. Even with that little of driving it costs me an average of $68/Mo. in gas! :E:

My old Klunker Frod (did I spell that right?) gets me to & from work. >:D

My Av just turned 30,000 miles in two and a half years, so overall we're pretty gentle on the Av because I don't use it to commute. However, I just got back from a family trip from NJ to Columbus Ohio. I put 1100 miles on the Av over the weekend, the most since I bought it.

We had a three-vehicle caravan, and 13 total people, so we switched up occupants every 2-3 hours. For several hours, we had 4 adults and 2 children in the Av. I have to say that the Av drove like a charm and was very comfy. And of course, the Av held the most gear as well. :B:

I'm at 5200 miles in 4 months which is really pretty average except when you consider that I have a company vehicle that I drive to and from work while my Av sits 5 days a week.

During hunting season on the other hand, I'll be racking up some miles. Between hunting SC and hopefully doing a trip to Michigan plus one to upstate NY  ............now where'd I put that gas card? ;)

Wow! I thought I put a lot of miles on my Av, but after reading y'alls stories I don't feel so bad! :D

The longest single trip I have gone on was last summer from Denton, TX, to Tucson, AZ, then on to Breckenridge, CO, and back to Denton. It was about 2700 miles in 2 weeks. Although, I was doing all the driving myself, so it felt a lot longer than that. I have put 29,000 miles on this truck (my 2nd Av) in one year. Not *too* bad, I guess. :cautious:
