Hello gents,

Just rolled into 300K on my 2007 LTZ that I bought new in May of 2008.

Putting my third set of plugs in today and thought I'd give it a shout-out. Just replaced the original transmission at 275K.

The only advice I'll give is......change your oil every 3K.... Take care of her and she'll take care of you.

Congrats! My '04 had 305K and now my grandson has it. I picked up a '13 BDE Z-71 with 88K and plan on driving it "till death do us part"!
 
Congratulations!!! That is sensational... Mine just clicked to 276,000 miles or 445,000 kms... still going... transmission smooth as butter. Have had to replace lifters on Cylinder 4 and 6, oil pressure sensor just recently and a MAP sensor. That's it. The rest of the truck has so far been exceptional.

Thought had a scare last week. I was driving then the engine suddenly started jerking violently and lights and alarms everywhere. I pulled into a car repair place, in canada its called Canadian Tire... notorious for not having the best techs sadly... though not always... Anyway, it was snowing so badly, I could barely see (Northern Ontario can be incredible for sudden snow falls) and I was still about 20 kms from home... so I figured they could at least tell me if she would make it home. 2 hours later... estimate for $3000 in repairs... ignition coil, fuel sender module, new wires, new plugs new coils and i forgot what else! I was horrified... I thought, well this is it... but he assured me that it was still driveable and I could make it home and bring it back tomorrow. Well I took my truck back and she was shaking violently still, but the snow had stopped so I decided to pop the hood... well don't I look and see the PCV valve hose was just dangling there... it had slipped off... oh forgot to mention it was -24 Celcius by the way! So I slipped it back on and instantly the car was smooth and quiet like nothing happened... HAHAHA! Anyway, bought a new hose from a local Chevy dealer for $29... and slipped it on (the old one was loose from age anyway).

Just insane to believe that I could have gotten hosed on my poor baby for nothing, and they still would not have solved my problem. PS... they left their OBD scanner in my truck... drove back and gave it back to them and told them truck was running great again... he was so embarassed looking.
 
Update: 334K .

Typical stuff only..... rear springs, second evap canister, second set of plugs/wires.

Currently running, and will continue to run, Nitto 420V tires. Probably the best rain tire I've ever run. That "groove thing" I think is what does it. 3rd set of those.

330K on my 07. Bought it new. Typical maintenance through the years. Original motor is starting to use more oil than I like. Probably going to rebuild the original motor this summer. Transmission was done about 270K.
 
I am at 294k miles. Original engine but about to pull it out for a 6.6 L gasser that WAS a 250k mile Lq9 6.0. By end of 2023 truck will be running a full 2500 driveline as well as suspension and brakes. So a slight upgrade. The new engine will get a blower at some point to give er a little "boost".
 
On my last trip my odometer rolled over to 305,693 miles. Runs like a top. Advice use Royal Purple oil and change it every 3K. Did have to change the Tranny at 296K but I do a lot of 1000 mile plus runs pulling a trailer so I'm happy with the performance. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

We are faithful about oil changes and my '02 has 210,000 miles on her. My brother was surprised when I told him that we haven't had the engine rebuilt. The rear end trashed out at a little over 100,000, but other than regular stuff, she's all original. Even one of the wheel bearings is original. I'd have no problem with taking her on a long road trip.
