O/K, but is this stuff greasey?  By the way, just tried a spot of something I have had in my garage for about 10 years, Turtle Wax product called Black Chrome.  It is a dark gray liquid, looks real nice and not greasey, think I will try a spot and see how it looks after a week or so.

Has anyone ever tried Turtle Wax Black Chrome, is it even sold anymore?
it's a coating, like paint, that is sprayed or rolled on...

Gatorback coatings

Gatorback coatings?

O/K, if this is really the answer to the problem does it look natural or like fake shiney paint?  And, if I roll it on, doing a correct neat job, will it look nice?

If both answers are yes, then where is the best place to buy this?

Thanks for your help.

I have never seen one up close that has been rolled on, so I can't really answer that, the sprayed on looks nice, and would be my preferred method of application.
you can purchase it from the website I linked to previously

furthermore, if you had complained to your dealership about fading while still under warranty, you might take the tsb that you can print from the Gatorback site to them and see if they'll do it under warranty still... it has happened for some

good luck!

Thanks again, mine was really o/k until this fall, somehow if just started looking crappy.  Maybe I will have my friend who ownes a body shop spray it on for me.

I really like the cladding, along with the Arrival Blue it looks cool.  Lowered, 305's on 20's, etc,. it's almost a classic.

OR use FUTURE floorwax for the cheapo in ya like me hehehe

Hey there!  I have a 2010 Avy. LTZ.  with the holes in the leather seats for heat and A/C.
First question.. what type of leather are they and i heard they have vinyl coating over them for protection??
Second. what should i use to protect them. 303, but should I use a leather conditioner as well?
What about cleaning them? what to use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  THANKS.  :help:

YES all automotive leather from majority of normal manufacturers is vinyl coated to protect it
(excluded would be cars over 100K)

So they are protected...
what they need is regular cleaning and maybe a protectant of your choice o look good

303 works as does any leather protector..
I prefer Zaino leather in a bottle since it smells the best

Leather cleaner..

or damp Microfiber towel

or use little diluted all purposes cleaner...

Nothing harsh.....
Woolite works well too

You have a good list of detailing products and I like them because I a very curious about cleaning of my car. But I use only mother's detailing products to get the best results and never compromise on that brand.

He treated it every three weeks or so.  I don't have that kind of commitment.
