Ya know this work thing is really getting in the way of my social life. I just found out I have to do about 12 weeks of work by March 1st. I'm afraid we won't be able to make Laughlin after all.

I went to make reservations at the Flamingo about 30 mins ago, and they told me that "the group code has exceeded its limit", so you can no longer get the discount. We have free nights at Harrah's so I booked a room there (I know it is at the other end of town ). Looking forward to the event and the people. Will be very nice to get away...

I just got off the phone with the Flamingo... Stephanie is calling reservations looking into why our block of 50 rooms with the group pricing until midnight tonight is already turned off. She will be calling me back in a few minutes.

Good News!
Stephanie called back and explained a glitch in the system closed our group code early. It was supposed to be open until 01/13/06 at midnight per contract. As an expression of apology they have extended our cut-off date another week. We now have until 01/21/06 at midnight to make reservations and receive the group discount.

I have 30 registration forms from last year. That is one registration per Avalanche. I believe the furthest distance came from Northern California.
