4" Rancho Lift - How Are Some Clearing 35" Tires?

I was wondering, how some of you people on this website are clearing 35" tires on a 4" Rancho KIT (No need to go into the dicussion of the Lift KIT being actually being a 5.5 lift, that is of no importance here, I'm asking HOW people are clearing 35"s on it w/o rubbing). I have the same lift KIT on my 2500 and I'm only able to clear 33" tires w/o rubbing. Obviously it's not working magically for some people, there has to be something else your doing w/o avoiding rubbing in the front. Please post some comments on this, because when my tires start going low on tred, I want to go up to a 35" tire. And if I can find out how you guys are able to clear 35"s on a 4" Rancho Lift, then I will.

What width rims are you using?
Some people trim out some of the plastic in the front wheel well to make the clearance.

Most do it with two things....

1st - Trimming. The plastic around the wheel wells will nedd to be trimmed.

2nd - Wheel size and back spacing. You aren't going to be able to do it with 10" wide wheels. And you BS will have to be 4.5" or less.

I have 33" tires on 16x10 wheels and I have slight rubbing under full compression or during backing up while turning at a certain radius.

That's understandable. You have 33" tires on yours eh? Nice truck btw, and thanks for the info. I hope someone who actually has 35" tires on their Avalanche can offer me some advice. I would like to here from someone about their own PERSONAL experiences involving what they had to do, or what the lift shop did for them to clear 35"s on a 4" rancho kit.
