4X4 Mountain Decals

You beat me to it! :)

I finally got them set up yesterday.

Sorry everyone for taking so long to get to them.
It was one unexpected thing after another that caused the delay.

Thanks!

Now, if i buy these, how do I remove the factory Z71 Stickers? - Hair Dryer and goo-b-gone??

Here is the link to the Z71 Mountain Decals

They are REALLY easy to remove. I just used a hair dryer (it was winter) to warm and soften them and then used my fingernail to pry a corner. Once you have a corner peeled back, just go S L O W L Y and keep re-grabbing the decal near the surface so it doesn't tear and you have to pick at it again. I put a line of painter's masking tape under the decal so as to have a baseline for the new decal install.

Thanks Jamie.
I know I have taken Dealer tags and bumber stickers off with a hair dryer. I really look forward to ordering and receiving my Z71 Decal. These look great.

Follow Jamie's guideline above and they fit just fine- but put that tape on BEFORE you attempt removal of the stock logos. Jamie is correct 100 percent. And these things are GREAT! Caution- DO NOT USE WD-40 to remove. It leaves a petroleum base on the paint and you will never get the new ones to stick properly. Remove, wash area with dish soap, re-wash several times with fresh water, use chamois until you get that 'squeeky' sound of clean and apply new logos. If you use alcohol for cleaning first be sure to get it washed with cold clear water and dry with lint free cloth before applying. Not recommended for application in bright direct sun either [too hot surface].

I didn't have any existing decal, so no reference point. Went to Dealer and looked at Z71's (Avs and Pickups) and Z66's then went home and measured and eyeballed, then taped. Took me longer to get the taped alignment done than it did to put the decals (Mountain SS) on. BTW, I bought the installation kit to use. Everything went slick as could be.
