Yesterday driving caught a red light. It was the neutral red light on the 4X4 switch and the 2 wheel yellow light flashing.
Avy was driving just fine. No error on dash. Tried to select different settings. No change got home put Avy in neutral
selected 4 low it connected, 4 high, 4 auto, and back to 2 high. All works fine now.

So this also happened a few weeks back. It just went back to normal. ???

Any thoughts or where to look, did not fine anything on You Tube.

Thanks

Things just got a little more problematic. Son dose not come until next weekend.
Went to leave yesterday when I moved to reverse from park there was a loud clank.
Going from drive to reverse no clank but a whooshing noise. Performed this a few time
stayed consistent. Park to reverse, low to reverse.
Noise seems to be coming from the T-case./front drive shaft.

Well finished my coffee gave this some thought.
Went out stated the Mule, revved it in neutral the motor slightly lifted I have never really
looked at this before. May be normal. Put in drive E-brake on foot on brake.
BOOM the engine wanted to flop sides. 😲
So now I understand the noise but can this relate to the 4x4 controls being possessed???? 😈👿😈👿

In the case of your demonic posession..

As far as i can tell with google, throwing it in neutral and cycling it is the way to clear it out and it's usually something to do with the transfer case position sensor being a little buggy and may need to be replaced if you want it to be reliable.

That said, if it's not causing issues shifting and you have no 4wd error messages, there probably isnt anything terribly bad going on there. If the sensor is loose, it might just be jiggling on a bump and giving a false read that needs a shift cycle to be reset.

On the broken engine mount is there an up date or an improved aftermarket.

There is a second design mount that requires you to change the exhaust shield also.

Forgot to reply to this monday, but if your motor mounts are bad, id go ahead and take a look at the trans mounts as well. They're not terribly expensive to replace, they're probably just as rotted, and they would be taking more stress with the motor rocking around.
