Hi everyone,
about halfway through my conversion of removing the center console and replacing with a jump seat and need some help. There is a plastic panel under the dash the covers the opening where the Air Duct area is. Its about where your feet would go if you can imagine. I called my dealer and he has tried to help but says there are several part numbers showing up. One is like $84 and the other is like $420!!! He doesn't want to order the wrong one. I hope so much someone has done this before and can help out!

I promise to post pics after.

I have searched the forums, and I KNOW I saw the part number somewhere, but of course, I can't find it. Thanks so much everyone!

Well I got the modification done. Covered up the hole with a simple piece of plastic. But wow does it work great!

It was totally worth doing. Enjoy the pics, also enjoy the surprise find I found when I removed the rear air duct vent. I was so shocked I thought it was real and smacked my head on the dash with shock. Hahaha. Anyway, I was determined to keep the subwoofer so I modified it with my dads help to make it shorter in height. I moved the amplifier under the driver's seat frame, I put some foam between the frame and amplifier to avoid a reaction between aluminum Amp and steel seat frame. But the subwoofer under the rear seat allows it to still fold flat with the Midgate, while actually improving the sound too!

Yes what do I need to know before buying a jumpseat for my 07 avalanche? I want a newer one with all the upper and lower strorage.

Just pull out of a Silverado. It's easy and bolts right in after removing both front seats. The subwoofer you have to modify the height and place it under the folding rear seat. Works perfectly. Just extend the wiring to the subwoofer and that's it. Super easy

Thanks but I guess what I really need to know is can I use any Chevy / GMC full size truck jumpseat? Can it only be from 2007-2014? Seems like thats the range of the same type of seat with the 4 brackets. I just want to make sure the bolt holes are the same pattern.
