Hello, :B:

? ? ? ? Want to invite Ava's to Newport News on Sept. 29 - Sat. This is a new one for me.... Its at Lee Hall Mansion which is located off Exit 247 of I-64, near Jefferson Ave. & Yorktown Rd. (State Rt. 23:cool:. For any questions, contact the event coordinator Colin Romanick, 757-247-8523 or email: aromanick@Negev.com.

When I asked for feedback from last years event, there were .......? Last year they had? the local Chevy Cruisers Club, Corvette Club, Mustang Club, Mopar Club and the PT Cruiser Club among others. The show has had 100-150 vehicles ranging from the teens into the present day. This year they also are expecting more foreign clubs such as the Porsche Club, Mercedes-Benz Club and the Audi Club. They can group club members together as they have done for the PT Cruisers Club, Vette Club, etc. I spoke with Colin and he mentioned that depending on vehicle modifications we could fall into a couple of different classes. VB-02,

Last I talked to Colin, the coodinator, he mentioned this date for T-Shirt preference guarantee..... Pls call the number above just to see if they still have T-Shirts and to double check the registration dead line. :B:

I have been asked to bring a couple of vehicles. Depending on the weather I might have the AV there.  It is a good time and close to Williamsburg or Yorktown if any one wants to come to the area.  If I remember right they will let you registrer on site that day.

If you do not  mind me asking. What is that about for you to bring vehicles to the show. Any way, for now this event is something that me and the family along w/friends will make it to.... :D

Hmmm, I don't have anything planned for this Saturday, so I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what's up.

U going VB-02?

GREAT NEWS!!!
Talk to Mr. Colin and he sais to let him know if we want to park in a group. He mentioned that we can register up till Friday afternoon and worst case scenerio leave a message. For two or three no problem, three or six... to call him to reserve a spot to have blocked off for us( AVA'S).

What's up crowd.... any one out there.....? ? :B:

I know what you mean.... For us the last show we went was last year at colonial downs, that's is why we want to go this weekend.  :B:

(y) OK who is going? What time is everybody planning on being there?  What time does the actual car show start for the general public?  Would like to come and see some of the vehicles and see a couple of Avalanche club members but not sure I want to stay all day.  Saturday the wife and I are planning a couple other things in the process.

??? That means you do not have a better excuse why your not going to make it. All I know is that its AVA's talking so either we are regular or non-regular. (y)

:D This AVA is going. I was advised to be there after 0900 for registration and parking. It opens to the public at 1000. Depending on the CAR environment, I should be there for a while(all day if possible). My wife will meet me there later on that morning w/our one year old. Some of my friends and neighbors are scheduled to hang out as well.? I am more than willing to assist anyone/each other with any last minute detail issues to make sure we have a pleasant gathering. The ballot closes at 1330 and awards start at 1430 so the show should be ending around 1530.

Also, remember that if we have more than four or so, I will have to let the event coordinator know.. let me know.

If anyone is interested to go in together, lets do it..

:welcome:

  We will be there sometime between 10:00 and 10:30.  We will not be participating in the show but will still enjoy looking at the vehicles and meeting with some of the Avalanche friends.  It would be nice if some local would PM us a local cell # in case we get lost or want to locate you at the show.  Thanks Steve and Sue.

All,

? ? ?Very nice day to have done this event. The event was very family oriented and humbling to the public. Great people asking and sharing their comments. It was simple but really enjoyable, again the people were great... I will post pics later when I have some time...

Marc,

I remember now, you are right, I did not know who you were. I apologize for being rude, I should have said hi anyway. I guess I thought that everyone would park next to VB-02. Hope we meet again.... :B:
