Chris and Matt worked their behinds off setting up what turned out to be a HUGE success...Wild West 2008

We want to extend our congratulations and thanks to both of you and the others whose help you enlisted
to make this Regional GTG a resounding success!!!

You both covered all the bases with a professional approach which included both children and adult activities.
The planning left room for folks to do things on their own and group activities which were fun and unique.
There was never a dull moment.

Chris, you really worked your behind off on the Saturday BBQ...the food was waaaay plentiful and excellant too.

The T-Shirts are fantastic, very high quality and the screen printing was first rate.

I'm not really sure between the two of you (Chris and Matt)...who took on which responsibilities...
because it seamed together so well.

Wild West 2008 goes down in my book of Av Events as a Huge Success !!!

Thanks again (y) (y)

Cliff & Amy

I want to extend a huge thanks to Chris and Matt as well and their wives for the tons of hard work and love of the club to get this rocking.  It was more then worth the long travel believe me. I also want to thank each and everyone who attended  this great event. Skip and I had a blast and met some great people we can not wait to see again !
Sad it is over but so grateful to all involved and Cliff don't sell yourself short you made a great leader on the Lava bed run and and you and Matt did a fantastic job on the Crater Lake run.
For those interested lol yes I did bop Wildfire and he got me back
I also owe Wildfire for saving the Pear; from a freak attack of a flying umbrella.
Truly gang it was an awesome event and I am glad we were able to roll with you all !!

Congratz you too..  This will give you both a STRONG foundation for the future events you have...
Looks like a fun time by all, and I loved the pics of Crater Lake, as I said before I had wished I had my AV while I traveled through a few years ago...

Chris & Matt definitely A Big thanks from the whole Doberman Family.. Had a real awesome time, The kids and Wife keep saying what a good time they had and have already given me the O.K. for the next trip to Reno/lake Tahoe still in planning stages. But I'm already there....  (y) Later Dave...

Well I did not get my octoshots  but we did pull off a spectacular rescue of a lost little Corgi, we had a phantom snowballer and trust me I am looking at all the pictures hoping to catch the culprit . I have a strong feeling that Chris set the kids up to it but you know how it is innocent until proven guilty  I was smacked in the back of the head curtiousy of Wildfire a couple of times  got to admit I had it coming (y) (y) Wildfire saved the Black Pearl from damage by catching a flying killer umbrella just as it was about to assult the Pearl  .
A big thank you to Tom for the mod of the Pearls head rests. Guess you all know he was not smacked
Chris decided to do donuts in some snow and seems Skip just had to go along with that one , he is so banned from driving the Pearl now

Anthony I am glad you did not do a sudden stop while we were filming !!

But the best prank on Aussie award goes to Cliff !! He got me good ! Off guard you could say. I giggled all the way home at me falling for it   I am just glad I was not wearing white   Nuff said

Thanks All.  I'm really glad that everyone had a great time.  It was hard work, but a good hard work.  I'm just glad that everything went according to plan and we had no major surprises. (Like we did last year at the PNW MiniMeet! - Had to change locations - twice! - while everyone was already driving there!)

So,  Reno/Lake Tahoe for Wild West 2009?  :D

Aussie became a truck tattoo

Those aren't surprises!  Those are memories!  (And pretty damn good ones too!)

(Surprises is like the restaurant shutting down!  Oh, wait, it did shut down!  But at least we had enuf time to locate another.)

From the pictures I have seen and the stories I have read.. It looks and sounds like everyone had a great time.

Nice job!!

:wave:Todd and yes it was a fantastic time. I did however learn a thing or two
Don't wear white
hug with driver on outside of truck    Man that was so original and one of the best gags on me so far. I love it
Learned to put charge to radios, and dremel
Learned that the Pearl needs to be bug proofed
Learned to expect to get return fire from Wildfire
Learned not to sit in the window taking good shots when hubby has doing a donut in mind
Learned to check for phantom snowballers

It was a great meet up and so very well planned and done. I had the time of my life and came away very wealthy because my circle of friends is now even larger.

Ah thanks she is a real sweetie. And lol that is Skip but I like chip because it sounds like I have  :beating: him
Now i know Suzie is down for a flag bar and oh yea darn it she asked me to send her that site to buy the Made In America high wind flags. I will get on that. I think you need strobes too

Thanks to Chris and Matt for the fantastic job they did and to all the people be hide the scene that made this such a great event.
The wife and kids enjoyed the event and the great people.

I would like to say thank you to Chris and Matt, too! (And the women behind the men, too.  :D )  Excellent GTG, folks!

It was great seeing both of these guys in action, as Cliff stated "very professional".

So thanks again Chris and Matt,    not only did you put in a lot of hard work, but you forked over some of you own dough for the GTG as well, I'm sure.

We enjoyed the food, beer and friends.

Tom & Family

BTW; the kids favorite part was chasing lizards in the Lava Beds State Park.
