A Jerk In A Merc

This was nice.
Was out on a biz lunch today at an upscale shopping village. Parking was limited. So I eased up and backed in along the curb in front of a Mercedes that was parked exactly 1 Summit White 4X4 AV's length away from a RED Zone.

Went to lunch. Came back to find a delightful message scrawled in Sharpie on my window. It went like this...
"HAY F***HEAD LAND TO PARK!"

Land to park? What the heck does that mean?

Realized it was the Jerk in the Merc. Guess he had a little trouble getting out from behind me.

also goes to show the ignorant fools that waste good money on foreign crap...
really you don't have to know how to spell to get a mercedes these days...haha

I initially thought he meant a mercury. I will never look at a mercedes the same way now. ;D Now every time I see a mercedes i'll think its a recycled mercury

Yeah land.....the least he could have done is whine in terms that you could understand.... ;D :B:

LOL at all the replies!! ;D

:8: I did manage to clean off the permanent marker with some graffitti lifter. Grumble, Grumble.

I wonder if he's talkin bout the incident on the Mercedesbenzbadspellersputzclub.com?

When I used to get the British car mag "Car" they always called Mercedes "Mercs" - no differentiation problem on the other side of the puddle! :)

Now a days, if you can make the lease payment you can own pretty much anything. Certainly buying an "upscale" vehicle does not embue the owner with taste or breeding more than they already have :)

I used to go to Porsche Club NA meets years ago when I had a rat 914 (welded up from 2 cars  ) that I put a specially prep'ed 90%-racing motor/suspension mods into. Needless to say I was not very welcome because 1) I didn't fit the Porsche "look" and 2) I could blow away the 924 with ease (which was the entry-level car of the time - before the 944s), and keep up with all but the hairy-est 911s... I won't even talk about the 912 a friend of mine and I put a Corvair motor into >:D

If it happens again..carry a sharpie yourself and return the favor...."BMW M5 clown" they get a kick out of that... :B:
