Just thought I would send a thanks to everyone posting. ?We are in the process of purchasing an AV so I have been checking out all available info I can find. ?We went last night to take delivery, but the midgate has a huge leak...the floor and the rear seats were wet, thanks to you guys we knew where to look. ?We told the dealer we didn't want to take it and they are looking for another one. ?Just hate having someone else put the miles on it. ?Taking delivery on a rainy day wasn't as bad as we imagined, it saved us some headaches in the long run. ?I guess a little rain never hurt anyone...
Just an update, found our AV a couple of days later thanks to some searching on the net. We went from a Red Z66 with cloth and sunroof to a Red Z66, full leather, sunroof, Onstar, steps, roof rack for less than a $1000 more, thanks to finding an AV before the price increase, and better yet, no leak!!

A little knowledge and experience goes a long, long way. Glad you found the problems before you took delivery, taught the dealer a thing or two and you are now waiting for one that's right!
