That's funny because that is what was the idea behind the parking sign!

I can't help but love that expression as a Canadian I find it trully American.

Hey I have a license plate like that!

Nah, the Old Man will stay on the license plate even if he is no longer on the mountain. Travelling around the US and Canada I get more comments about the "Live Free or Die" plates than anything else.

NH will just have to add in the small print just below "LIVE FREE OR DIE", "rest in pieces"
