Hey now that is my Signature flag that I had at the First STI!! LOL Glad to see that some else will have one!

just tossing this out there for feedback
I see lots of american flags with other logos and such printed/stiched over the bars and for the most part I think are pretty tacky (ones I've seen anyway) because they don't seem to represent much ....
Obviously the yellow ribbons hold a great deal of significance to the people of this country and our soldiers, so what are the thoughts of having a yellow ribbon stiched over the bars near to the right side of the flag (possibly at an angle)? could also do the black ribbon for MIA/POW.

Thanks for all the compliments on the flag mount. It is different and I'm sooo relieved that it stood the STI II Cruise test. Three flags can pull some wind and it did great. Hope somebody got a pic or two. For those who didn't see it - the great thing is it doesn't interfere with the saddlebags, bedcovers, or the tailgate functions and flags are removeable as well and - you have options of 1,2, or 3 flags.
I'm going to work on seeing about getting this thing made if I can get the cost down on a builder??
For our Cruise down River street and the topic of this thread;
IT was a very heart warming tribute to our troops, so much so that while were cruising we had a person jog along side of our AV and convey his thanks to all of us for flying the flags, (red/white/ & blue, /POW-MIA and especially for the all of the Yellow Ribbons ! !
He was a Drill Intrsuctor from PARIS ISLAND that served in IRAQ and was in Savannah with his family for the weekend.
That my friends made this weekend so much more special and thank you all for wearing the Yellow Ribbons for our troops and our nation.

We really did have a large number of flags flying, which made for a very impressive sight. Hoss and Mama Jo's yellow ribbons were icing on the cake. Musiks hauling all those flagpoles to STI-II gave a number of us that were wanting to participate before, the opportunity to do so this time around. A special thanks to all that did fly a flag during the River Street cruise. I still get a great feeling thinking about it!
For those of you in other areas, flagpoles are one of the best feel-good mods you can do for yourself. Whether you make your own, or buy one from a vendor or one of our members; take the plunge! You won't regret it!
