Is there any "list" of compatibility for various types of after market addons and what not?

Push bar / grille guard ( diff from gen 1 and 2, apparently compatibility with suburban that shares the same frame (others?)) - also depends on body cladding

CAI - Silverado? Others with 5.3l? ( or are some engine compartment layouts diff )

Bumpers? same as other 1500 series so long as not cladding dependent?

Headlights and tails? if decent led upgrades

I have found varying levels of success on each, hoping someone has the expertise or if there is already a breakdown of exactly what can share from other vehicles and what needs to be specific

No list I know of... but lots of info in the existing threads

AVY is based on suburban frame.
You have cladded and WBH Uncladded which have different front clips.
2nd gen completely different from first.

Engines is used on about every GM truck SUV product so lots of parts shared.

THis list would be a book unto itself...

Best thing to do is look for what you are interested in in these sections and see what other members have posted in the past.
OR look at PN on GM website for all the models it is good for.

I agree with ygmn.
As a general rule most parts for an AV of a certain year will be the same as the same year Suburban unless you have a cladded Av of course.
Only a few parts are shared with the Silverado outside of general parts like in the drivetrain.

For a 2010 AV, will anything other than 07-13 AV/Tahoe/Suburban fit as far as steel bumpers? It seems like there are so many cheaper options out there but they are for silverados, tacomas, jeeps, etc...

Madhatter936 it depends on what you mean as a steel bumper, some kind of OEM looking bumper or a true heavy Off- Road type custom built bumper.....
As with any mod, if you have the money, time and ability almost anything can be done. The reason most of those model bumpers you mention is cheaper is due to volume of those vehicles on the road and still being manufactured they also may be used in harsher off-road conditions and damage their bumpers more frequently so again more sales for heavy duty or replacement bumpers.

I'm trying to find out if anything lines up remotely close that maybe just needs new attachment brackets if that makes sense
