I still have to wait for ONE WHOLE DAY to pick up my Avy! Time is passing slower than it used to at 5:00 AM on Xmas morning. How can I make time go faster? I want my baby NOW! :E:

Dont't forget: WE NEED PIcS tomorrow!!

What mods do you have planned first?? (y)

Well, there'll be pics, but probably not tomorrow, it'll be dark by the time we're home. May not be til midnight! Until then, use your imagination -- dark blue 2004 Z66, no body armor, fairly basic but still cool.

Mods: just the standards to start -- mudflaps, running boards, molding, then some graphics. After that, who knows?

Welcome to the club! When I first got my AV...I said the same thing, "I'm just going to stay with the basic MODs...Look at me now, I'm up to one MOD a week! I'm a MODaholic and I can't stop! But the good thing is my wish list is finally getting smaller ;D

Happy MODDing, I suugest you do the Maglite MOD...it's a must have IMHO.

What is the Maglite mod? Is that where you throw an expensive flashlight in the glove box?

;D

Bringing home a new vehicle, on St Patty's night?

Watch out for the amatuers on the road.

Welcome to the club.

 :B:

I hope AMBER DRL's are one of the first MODS! They help fellow club members stand out!

THEN...there is the quick rewiring to get your Amber DRL's to become on all the time the vehicle is on (Night Time Running Lights - NRL's). Then the All 4 On High, the Mag Light Mod, Fire Extinguisher Mod, Exhaust, Stereo System, Custom Decals, Interior Lighting, Rims & Tires, Intake, Speed/Billet Grill or Painted, Headlight covers, Taillights to either clear or covers, etc....

Have I overwhelmed you yet!!!! >:D >:D >:D >:D

LOL!!!!

IT NEVER ENDS!

PM me if I can help in anyway!

BTW - search Mag Light Mod....tons of info, pics, etc. Basically, you can buy mag light clamps at Home Depot, or online, and you mount them on the underside part of one of the rear storage compartment lids....Just add Mag light. The Fire Extinguisher is the same idea, except with a fire extinguisher! That way if you pull up to a F@RD, and...you feel to put the guy out of his misery, you can put it out......but only if he is going to buy you another Fire Extinguisher!!!!

well... it's 8PM eastern and still no pics ;D

What's up with that? ;)
Let's see :cautious: Ironflange is in Alberta, thus Mountain Time.
He's gotta do all that paperwork (which I believe is intended to prolong your misery before you can officially take control of your AV) :E:
Next he needs to follow the salesman for a walk around the AV to be certain all the accesories are functioning :6:
Then the dealer takes Ironflange's AV around the block to feed it a 1/2 tank of gas :cautious:
By now Ironflange is possibly sweating with anxiety in anticipation of actually touching the keys to his AV
Finally gets the keys in hand and figures to take a short jog out to Banff and back ;D
Ummmmmm, Ironflange may be back by the time Yak wakes up in Newfoundland :6:

:B: Enjoy your ride Ironflange :B: We'll wait for ya :B:

I'm here, you can stop worrying! It's in the driveway now, safe and sound. You were righht, Grandpa, signing all those forms was torture, and this after waiting almost an hour for the finance lady to come free. This on a Wednesday night. Mrs. Ironflange got to drive it home, and I had a few stops to make. Excuses, excuses. It's too dark for pics, tomorrow is a mess, so pics will appear on Friday. Tuff luck, guys. You know what it looks like anyway.

My first mod is a Bugflector. I went to Wal-Mart on a whim, and I'll be damned if they didn't have the right one! So it goes on tomorrow. I'd like to do the amber running lights, but Mrs. Iron is the main driver and she may not be too hot on it. So I'll just do it when she's not looking! :D I know it'll look cool, and it's a cheap mod.

I want to do decals too, but it's going to be sheer hell deciding which one. Too bad I'm working all weekend, I won't even have a chance to do a spin in the country until next weekend. :(
