I just swapped in a LTZ console in place of my LT console so that I could gain the garage door buttons. Problem is, I have a shop door as well as my standard garage door and that shop door is an open stop close operator. In the past I have just programmed the open and close buttons but it would be great to have all 3. I was looking at it after install tonight and I bet I have enough room to cut the console and add in a second row of garage door buttons.
Does anyone know if the switch module itself contains everything. It seems like it should. If so, I think I can just parallel each of the wires off in order to put in a second set of buttons. I am however nervous because if it was completely self-contained it seems like it should only have 2 wires and it appears to have more than that.
