I am hoping to find some help here.. because I am at a loss.  I have a 2007 Avalanche LTZ and the 10 Amp AC fuse keeps blowing after running under a minute.  I inspected the wire going to the clutch and did not see any damage.  I also completely replaced the AC clutch and pully thinking that was shorting out. I tried a 15 amp fuse just to see and that blows too.    I am out of ideas.

need to find circuit diagram to know what all the fuse feeds and trace wires....
probably a mouse chewed on wire somewhere

If you unplug the wire at the clutch, does the fuse still blow? This would point towards wiring. Do you need/want wiring diagrams?

The attached might help with the logic of the circuits, tracing is another issue altogether...

When I unplug the clutch the fuse does not blow.  That is what led me to replacing the clutch.  So I replaced the clutch with a new one and still the same scenario.  Fuse only blows when clutch hooked up.

IS compressor locked up maybe?
Check wires from clutch back.
