Howdy! I'm in Germany now (Air Force), but my family and my baby ('02 Z71, vanity plate "LUGNUT") are in Eagle River. I will retire and be home for good in June, but I keep having to yell at my wife because she let my baby get covered in snow and doesn't drive it enough. It's stock for now, but i'm saving money to complete my wish list after I get home.  I lurked on clubavalance.com for a while and was disappointed when I went there a couple days ago and saw it shut down, though I know most of the folks in there are on here as well.

Hello to all,

Moved up to Anchorage last year (Air Force), and brought with me a wife, a dog, a mean rabbit and my 2003 North Face Edition (theres a grand prix somewhere around here too...).

She's stock, but I have high hopes for her. First thing on the list is new shocks (that ALCAN dished out some punishment!). Looking to order some Bilstein Heavy Duty front and rears from Summit and install them myself, after all she is my truck!

I freely admit that I'm a novice when it comes to working on vehicles (grew up an inner city kid...), but with my Chilton and this forum, I'mm thinking I may be set!

Thanks to all that makes this place tick! (y)

If you get over here again stop by the NAPA store.  My av is usually parked alongside the building.
I have really enjoyed reading and watching your duramax threads.

cool

They were repainting the napa when I was there. Probably coming back this spring, to do some work, Maybe I'll bring it.

You name the time and the place and I will be there.  Especially if you are driving the duralanche!  Heck I'm only 250 miles away.

Well I did not know where else to post this other than in the Bar and Grille

How is everyone doing up there I see you have a Hurricane on the coast.

That is 1000 miles away from me..... It's going to be bad there without the packice to buffer the coastal towns at about 5 feet above sea level

Hey, Jon you guys getting high winds over at your place, I am down at the end of Anchorage and its been nasty, windy on and of the last week. hope they keep that stuff out on the coast
