Were coming to show off our bright white skin.

late Feb to march 11. anyone want to meet for lunch/din din, some time?

Have any ideas for us. It has been 25 years for me, since I have been there, so I'm sure nothing is the same.

going to another island for a few days but mostly were going to be in Waikiki

I remember doing upside down Kamikaze's in a barber chair last time I was on Waki Waki beach. Boy that was some time ago.

Alaska - We are honored to have you come and visit! Hope the weather will be good for you to help you defrost, we're just getting thru the rainy season now. March should be nice.
As far as I know, there's only 2 of us that post up on here and he was just transferred out to another base recently I think. I'm probably going to miss you too as we're headed to the mainland to take the little one to Disneyland for spring break around that same time. As far as Waikiki goes, it's about the same as before, just a little cleaner and alot more expensive. We like to charge the tourists a little extra than the locals. It's only fair!
As dates get a little closer, I'll see if I can meet you for a beer at least.
Let me know if you need any help with anything.

We usually go to Kaui. Wakiki is very nice too. We found that you can negotiate a better price at most places. In the International Market most every place you could knock off at least 30%. The hotel/condo will get you. Some of the food will get you too. We were there for a week and didn't need a car. Rented a HD for a day to go for a ride. You will enjoy it, for sure.  (y)

Have fun, wish I were going

My mainland trip was pushed back so I will be around most of the time your here except for a day or 2 between islands for work so if you still want to try a GTG...!

Kauai is our favorite Island too.  We have been there several times and we even bought a time share there about 16 years ago.  It is more like what people think of when they hear "Hawaii"  IMHO. Oahu is too much like Houston - at least as far as traffic goes.  Maui used to be kind of quaint but now looks too modern to me. Lanai is real, real quiet and remote. The Big Island is where we have had the most fun what with the volcanos  and lava flows and the observatories. Moloakai?  A lot like Lanai only with people. We'll be returning to Kauai in June for week with some Grandkids in tow so that will be fun. ;D

Someone is having fun.

With you in Hawaii and your sis running the Iditarod I guess the 2 of you don't like the same type of vacations.

That should be fun for the family, was just there Tuesday. Had lunch at the Lahaina Pizza Co, that was a good choice, Longhi's is also a good dinner option. Enjoy.

Waiting to board the jet off Maui. Had a good time went up to the creator @ 10,000 feet. Did a sunset booze cruise ,watched whales. Saw some 2-3 foot sized turtles in the surf. Was hopeing to scuba dive but sea was to ruff for our friend to take out nubies

Back to Waikiki till Monday  Thinking of going to the water park Saturday
