OK - HELP!

Here is what I need to make this transition lightning fast. Have experience with setting up Unix servers? Have some free time? Have access to FTP software and know how to use Telnet? Want to get the club not only out of the ditch but in the fast lane? Really good with HTML and CSS and have some time? Then please come forward and help me out!

I need a couple of smart folks to step forward and help me finish transfering over to our new host so I can switch out our DNS and make it a painless transition. I need the Unix server configured (and educated on how to do it). I need the POP Mail configured (and a bunch of e-mail addresses set up). I need someone to install the new UBB Threads board and configure it to run on the new site - which may mean setting up MySQL.

There is a lot of work to be done - if you can step up to the plate please e-mail me at outdoorplaces@hotmail.com - careful - I'm going to put you to work!

I can't help much on server (hardware) issues, but I can certainly help with HTML and the CSS (style sheets).

Thanks guys - what I really need is a droid familar with the binary language of vaporators.

No wait, that's not it - do you speak Bochi?

No that's not it either...

What I really need is some one familar with setting up a UNIX/webserver on issues like security settings, password protecting folders, setting up POP Mail - if anyone has done that please step forward! It's the missing link in coverting the site to the new server...

I got lots of experience with Unix ( probably because I work for Sun Microsystems) However I know nothing about setting up a Unix web server.

However if you have some specific question I might be able to find the answer for you.

:cautious:
