It's wild, it's blue, I think it's hideous, but it's unmistakably 100% Alpine and inspired wannabe installs from Sony, Kicker and Clarion...........
To me it looks like their guys said, "Ok, we're gonna tear this thing apart, install as much crap as humanly possible, cover it with as much fiberglass as possible and throw some blue paint all over the place!"

Opinions of this "showstopper" guys?

No, I didn't get to go this year :C:

I have a feeling they wouldn't demo it for anyone though, I'm not sure that it would stand up to people getting in and out, honestly.

That Blue chevy Pu with all the SONY stuff in it is ran by a friend of mine that does marketing tours for SONY. That could of been mine. I was asked if I wanted to help out with it but was to busy with other things :E: I met up with the owner of that ride at the SEMA show this year and spoke to him alot. It has about 17 tv's in it. Out of 5 cars that they built that one is the best. Glenn

A bit much if you ask me.

Course it was leagues better
than my audio stores version
of an Alpine car which was
a Pt Frickin Cruiser!!

It was decked out but wow
such an ugly car.

Minis at least look a little better.
Too bad they didn't demo the
sound they really should have..

Aetatis.

Enkei,

The last Sony vehicle that did anything for me was in 92-93 when they had an Audi A8 with a Mobile ES system in it. If I remember correctly in about 95-96 they had a Caddy STS that was pretty nice as well. Now though....

Their cars quality declined about as much as their equipments quality.

I can tell you some stories about that AUDI and that STS.
The Audi was one of the first in the USA it was a pre pro
that had no air bags. When we built that car the press wanted to drive it But we were told from VW NA that it was not DOT app. It did sound great I think I drove it the most about 1 1/2 miles from Sony Hq to the Sony METC.

The STS I was one of the first people to drive that car too I picked it up from the dealer when they bought it. After we got it to the HQ they saw that the paint was So bad they made me drive it back to get wet sanded. I remember it well. If you want more just pm me
