Alternator voltage shows droppage after few miles

My voltage meter shows droppage after few miles. When you first start off, it reads 13-15v, but after a few miles, it's around 12-13v. Is this normal-never noticed this before, it always stayed between 13-15volts?
 
First question, how old is your battery?
You should also read section 5-14 in your 2013 owners manual for info. If you don't have one you can see a copy in this link to our Resources section:

NORMAL

NEw voltage control that keeps it around 12V when driving so alternator load on engine is reduced and you get better MPG.

If you had issues (LIKE MANUAL SAYS) the charge system error light would come on.

Truly check the manual on this one... good info
