Nope - as a matter of fact I know Kansas had a GTG at one point and time. ;D

See, we were the first chapter to have their picture taken next to a historic court house. ;D But if we are ever going to beat the Texas record, we have LOTS of catching up to do.
 
MacMan...There are several Kansans on this site. I'm gone to frequently to participate often.....love my AV here in Western Kansas. Welcome to the site! :cool:
 
OK Guys, here is another one! ;D I am in Overland Park and work on the Missouri side, so I can be in 2 state clubs :cool:Come to think of it, I still travel back to Nebraska about once a month so hey, make it 3 sate region? :B:
 
Great to see all the Kansans with good judgement. Not too many Avs around (I'm the Ark City guy). Let's see if we can make something happen this spring/summer.

Anyone have a favorite car show we could invade?
 
Hey Kansas Av's. Acouple of us, actually 4 now?, are going to meet in KC at a local Hooter's >:D on SUnday March 2nd. Check out the string for 'Missouri Av's' for more info. Don;t know if that's too far for you all, but check it out. :0:
 
You're not the only one, but there sure aren't very many of you. I have family in Hutchinson. On a recent visit the change oil light came on so I wheeled into the nearest Kwiki-Lube. The guys working there just went Ga-Ga over it. They had never seen one.. After I told them where the hood release was, they all went down in the pit to check out the underside. In the entire time I was in the Hutchinson area, I didn't see any other AV's.
 
That's funny! I've only seen a few others in the Wichita area. Not many though. I had a guy come out to my house three weeks ago to measure for some new counter tops. He pulled up in an AV identical to mine!

Then I went to Home Depot for some plywood. I have a bad back, so I had the guys load it for me. Neither of them had seen one up close either. A walkie talkie call and 5 minutes later I had a crowd of HD employees milling around my AV!

Hey Drifter I thought it was going to be the one on: 40Hwy just east of Noland rd. March the 2nd?

I mean, I would agree to any of the three. ?(O.P. K.C. North, or K.C. next to Independence on 40Hwy.)

Maybe next time we could do North, then O.P. after that?

Last I knew, March 2nd was at 40 Hwy and Noland road, just outside Independence city limits, next will be either OP or North KC then the other one... man we need more HOOTERS!!!!
 
Yup, 40 hwy near Independence. I guess this gives me an excuse to get that navigation system I've been wanting ;D
 
Wow, just saw this topic. Snowslide and I were the ones at the first Kansas Meet (the only one so far that i know of too :cry: :cry:) Would be interested in having another one, would love to see more AV's. I live here in McPherson and we have Several AV's here. I've put fliers on most of them at one time or another, but, no postings seen on the board from them.

The first meet was here in McPherson. Would you be interested in meeting in Hutchinson, Salina, Wichita, Topeka, Emporia, ect. Anyone know of good spots to get together there?

Topeka or Emporia aren't too far from me, went to school a couple of years in Emporia... not much to do there, not even a Hooters :8: :mad: but I'd be interested
 
Hey, I met Snowslide today! He was up in KC for a soccer tournament and he saw my amber DRL's, so he introduced himself, "figuring I was in the club". :B:
Maybe we can get a south-east Kansas meet going sometime? :0:
Anway, good to know you Snowslide. Maybe my CAFCNA club sticker will show up soon so its easier to spot members >:D

Nope, I have another thread going and would like to hear from all Kansans. Check in on the Lets hear from the Kansans again thread and we will try to get something moving around here.... ;D
 
These are the Kansans Ive found and the ones I've heard from would like to hear from the rest of you. I count 12 including myself and Rob (didnt ask you for your user name when we talked earlier). If we could all get hooked up that wouldnt be a bad showing Imagine 12 big a*# Avs sitting on East Kellogg infront of Hooters or on the back row at the Landmark Starlite Drive In on Hydraulic.. would be pretty awesome dont ya think??? Or is there any other drive ins or hang outs around the area with maximum exposure? Ark City and Hutch would do as well. Just a thought on doing it in Wichita cause I know the area. Help me out people.....
