Hi, guys! I’m loving my Av, but have a couple of questions.

1. My Haynes manual calls out different oils for the front and rear diffs.....what’s up with that?

2. Ive been coding out for emission leak, first the tighten gas cap comes on, then the MIL comes on a bit later. I’ve checked the hoses and have a new cap, then after searching here replaced the vent solenoid valve. 16 days later the problem recurred.....Help!

Asfor oil that is what GM decided.. check your owners manual... we have some under Resource section.

What Code came up...not much we can do with out code.

Been kinda busy.....it is ye ole P0455 code. I reset the PCM again after my op, so far it has not faulted again.

I hate intermittent problems?

EVAP codes can take many days to surface because of all the test requirements it must go through; certain number of warm ups, fuel tank must be between 1/4 and 3/4, etc.. If the problem returns, did you use an OEM fuel cap when you replaced? My old cap kept loosening over time, new OEM cap solved my issue at least.
