:0: Hey we are working on another Get-together and were thinking Haygood Shopping center Jenro?s this is a car show that happens every Saturday around 5 PM. This is on a post in Virginia club site http://www.vaavalanche.org/forum/index.php?act=idx so check it out and give your input on when and were we should all meet thanks Steve VB-20
 
(y) Sounds good some of the local guys from the Beach want to get-together next weekend 7/31/04 at 5PM just to finely meet and then we can plan a larger GTG for every one because I know that would be to short of notice for everyone. Hey the more that show the better. We are hopping that the rain will give use a break. :cool:
 
isn't that today? my AV is down. i pulled the exhaust until i hear from Corsa. got some other problems i did not know about before they sent me the new muffler. :E:
 
(y) Don't know exactly where you are coming from in Newport News but you take 64 through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, there is a semi fork in the highway where Granby Street is to the right and 64 goes to the left, follow 64 to the left continue, you will see several exits that you pass: Tidewater Dr, Chesapeake Blvd, Norview Ave, Northhampton Blvd, once you pass Northhampton Blvd the highway becomes about 6 lanes wide...stay in the second to the right lane, this lane curves slightly to the right (make sure at this point you you then curve to the left which takes you on the flyover over the interstate you just exited highway is now 264), continue on 264, you will pass Witchduck exit, the next exit is Independence Blvd and take the second exit. On Independence Blvd you will continue for awhile passing Bonney Rd, Columbus St, Virginia Beach Blvd, Sentara Bayside Hospital on the right. Shortly after on the left is Haygood Shopping Center where the car show is. It will be in front of Jenro's Coffee House address is 1085 Independence Blvd Virginia Beach 23455.
 
Or...you could take I 64 east to 13 north (Ches. Bay Bridge route) turn right on Weslyn Dr (2nd light) follow 1 mile cross Newton Rd, go 1/2 mile cross Diamond Springs Rd go 1 1/2 mile to end turn left at light onto Haygood Rd at Bayside High School, go 2 miles to shopping center on right and BAM your there. ;D

Or...You could take 13 north about 4 miles to Independence Blvd take first exit and Haygood shopping center is 3 miles on right. ;D

I just counted 50 names on the Virginia Contact List! I know many are not in the Tidewater area but maybe the weather will improve for Saturday's GTG and we can have a good turnout? I'm sure there must be some North Carolina AV owners nearby also. I will try to make the GTG and hope others will be able to attend as well.

(y) Well just cleaned up the AV so it in good condition for Jenros tomorrow so see all you guy at 5PM.
