Any one know anything about cab mounts?

I'm thinking that I need to replace a few cab mounts. I remember reading a thing back a while ago on the TSB for the torsion bar popping that it could lead the cab mounts to wear out faster.

Well.. I don't have torsion bars anymore and I still get a pop under the drivers feet during a turn. Its not the steering or the steering rack.

Does anyone else have any ideas? Where could I get cab mounts? Are they easy to replace? Any suggestions?

Dealer item, doubt you'll find poly upgrades for these :)

Changing them isn't THAT tough, but you'll just write a check anyway :D

find someone who got a body lift.. and take their old ones

You keep the stock mounts with a B.L., split em in half and add a 3" spacer.

check if yours are tight first. check a salavage yard, AV/burb/taho....... buy new ones from dealer... 2 anyway, both near the sound.....

Mine made a clunk noise under my feet too.  They did the steering shaft and a shock to fix the problem.

steering shaft has been done... don't have front shocks... and still have that bump.

I guess I'll just have to check with the dealer
