Anyone Else Got This Problem?

Ok So There Is This Piece Of Plastic That I Keep Finding At My Feet Whenever I Am About To Get Out Of AV. It's The Endcap For The Seat Track. I Keep Putting It Back In But It Keeps Coming Back Off. Well It's Now Deformed. Anyone Else Have This Piece Keep Falling Off?

I had one of mine come off once. It took me a long time to figure out what it was or where it came from. I finally figured out what it was and put it back on and it has stayed ever since. I tried moving my seat back and forth a couple of times to see if the seat was knocking it off and it did not. Only thing that I can think of is that you must be knocking it off with your foot

Yep, the wife knocked mine off.
I put it back, but it must have been misaligned because the next time I moved the seat up, the seat track chewed it up. :E:

Now it is in the glove box. I might replace it some day.

mine is sitting in the cup holder... I might just through the thing out..it keeps coming off and is not deformed just won't stay put.

Why don't you trade with bonedog if he's going to throw it out? Did you knock it off when you were running wires? Mine was in the back seats after I took all my seats out to run wires. It took me 2 months to figure it out.

So that's what it is!!! I think I tossed mine out when it came off... Couldn't figure out what the heck it was... Didn't really put much

into it, but now I know!

I don't believe I've ever seen that particular part fall off before. Where I do find a bunch of parts is under the back seats when I flip them out of the way. I don't even know where they came from.

I had a flat tire soon after I bought the Av and had to use the jack to put on the spare. I attempted to get the jack back under the driver's side rear seat, but eventually gave up. Now I just keep all that stuff in the side compartments so I don't have to hassle with anything in the cab.

I had mine fall off once, but once I figured out where it came from I put it back and had no problems. Good luck with the fix.

Just happened to stumble across this thread. I too, found this on the ground in my driveway one day. I did not even think it was from my truck. I threw it away!

So, what does it do and where exactly does it go? Do I really need another one? It can't be that important as nothing has really gone wrong.

found it on my passanger side floor a couple months ago. it kinda looked like part of a cell phone belt clip. asked everyone who rode over there if they lost it. now i know what its for, gotta love this place

I figured out what mine was real quick but still have that same thought once in a while. I like the seat back and kick it loose every couple months and damned if I can figure out what it is for a minute or two :2:
