I'm looking for a place to stay in Toledo, Ohio or Temperance, Michigan or surrounding? I'll be working in Temperance and wonder if I can get any assistance in this area? Areas to look out for. I would like to get a place that is affordable yet safe. My max budget is $400 a month.

I live in Toledo ... you could stay at one of the following:

Best bet is to stick with either one of the hotels on Secor Road or the one in Dundee ... that would be a little bit of a drive for you ... Dundee is exit 17 on US-23 in Michigan .... if you give me a little more information (location of where you will be working) I'll see if I can find something even closer for you ....
 
I was born and raised about 30 miles south of Toledo, right around the area of exit 5 of the Ohio Turnpike. Parents still live in the same place. Transplanted to Arkansas 12 years ago. I will vouch for the fact that the area around TU campus is expensive and also the Point Place/Alexis Rd. area. Good luck!
 
Also, checkout Orbitz.com .. they have some good rates ... they have a Red Roof Inn for $36 a night .. that is just off Secor (around the corner from the Clarion)
