Was curious if anyone from Michigan or nearby was planning on going to the nationals that might have room to take a set of 4 wheels/tires out to another member?  We can certainly give you a bit of gas money for your troubles.

Let me know...

Thanks,

G.

I think flint 4x4 is driving out give him a couple of days to respond .

Also post this in the Michigan section

I am pretty sure he is going out there as well.  As far as I know, that is the only MI member making the trip... hth  :B:

I may be moving back to Michigan before the Nationals, if that happens I would be more than happy to help you.
I will know by June 1st if I am moving.

We will miss you being so close bro. Hope everything works out for you guys the way you want it to. On the bright side, you'll have less distance to drive to the Nationals... Lucky guy! ;)

Try asking over at the Midwest Avalanche Club also, I am driving out to the nationals, but not through Michigan.

It would be inconvenient as I plan on camping/living out of my truck. We might drive straight thru, take turns napping in the back. I'm trying to think how to do it without cramping my plans too much.

You could duct tape them to the bed panels.  Just a thought.     hth

I've had 5 wheels in the back with the midgate down/bedcovers on so I know how much space they take. I'll likely be using the AV-tent, I'd have to roll the wheels out if I stop to camp on the way.

Maybe someone else could take two and I'd take two ?

I'm unsure, maybe Wednesday. My friend Wally is supposed to come with me. I want to time leaving so I don't go thru Chicago during morning or afternoon rush hour too.

Flint -

Thanks for trying to work this out, if it doesnt, we will go the traditional shipping route.

Thanks again,

G.

What days will he be in SD ? I might not get there until Thursday. Two wheels wouldn't be any trouble, that would be half off the shipping. It's an 18 hour drive so I'd want the wheels secured under the bed panels when I stop on the way.

Maybe pass two to an OH/IN/IL member in thier path and someone else could grab two ?

Thanks,? I'll ask Shane when he will be there.

I was sure you meant Shane, I gave him my panel bag at a GTG. Last I knew he said he said all week if he could afford it. He might hotel & camp but leave midweek. I didn't say I wouldn't haul all 4 wheels, I'd rather not if there is another way.

Shane would have to stay until I get there
