Anyone planing a trip to KC to check out the very best car audio action? The KC "Chapter" may be getting together for a beer prior to the show. Here is everything except for price you need to know, but I believe it is $10 per person http://www.soundoff.org/wf2004.htm Hope to see you there.

Definately worth heading to! The USAC finals are far more entertaining than IASCA's Finals and you'll see a lot of great sounding cars there.

I WANT MY $30 BUCKS BACK!!! I am soooooo disappointed. USAC Nationals was a total bust, maybe all the vendors were not there or the pro cars or something, but I was not impressed. The compatetion cars were weak and most of the vendor cars didn't impress me that much either. I don't know if the rules are slacking off but when I competed back in 95-96 the cars were spit shined and polished the systems were up todate and the installs were top notch. I actually saw a car that had the same gear I had in my comp car thats 10 year old gear!!! WTF I saw more than one prefab box crammed into a trunk and TONS of cars that should have been docked points for being dirty. No Rockford, Alpine or Orion booths the best cars were from a local stereo shop. I don't know for sure what I was expecting but I do know those expectations were not met. Sorry the batteries on my camera did not get charged so no pics but Im not really sure I'd have taken any. Are the other stereo shows theses days this bigga let down or what, I've been outta touch with it for awhile.
