Just got new deep transmission pan with drain plug 😁. Having temperature sensor code and other issues with the pressure control unit.
Got deep pan as should help keep lower temperature towing more fluid + cooling pump.
My worry is it may not fit, I hope it can work without modification to the frame beams or exaust.

Not a fan of this site's moving posts, my question is for the 2007-2013 avalanche owners. But whatever 🙄, guess they move however they like organizing.
Next chance I get a few days not having to drive it will pull old transmission pan switch out new wires, pressure control, & gear selector temperature sensor unit.
Forgot part names already but know why replacing them.
Fingers crossed this larger pan fits & can help keep temperature lower when towing as advertised.
Looking & took pictures visual looks like it will fit but sometimes smallest things get in the way, 4in body lift lots of space only exaust about same distance I believe.

Should also make temporary paint booth to spray new fender for my drivers side. Came black so bought case of the dark ming blue & case of clear coat. Hoping it sprays well enough without bad spots, will hang & test it out.
That plus might try match blue ming on brush guard or powder coat black.

We move threads to most appropriate section so others now and in future can find the information.

People who are interested and want to post will find threads and reply.
Been this way since the site was started and we find it works well for those seeking info.

This is why we ask members to describe their truck in their signature, so others know what they have, and mods done.

It worked but was very difficult & much more work than expected.
I tried to install without removing exaust but after trying work around it there wasn't room enough myself.
Removed 8 nuts holding the Y exaust with catalytic converters on & moved it out the way.
The spring supposed to hold filter tight was pushing extention tube just barely in the way of gasket & pan joint. I tied a string around whole transmission to hold it in place against spring until I got pan & gasket aligned & partially threaded. Then cut string & pulled it through & out.
Very happy with how it turned out I do like having drain plug on transmission pan now, fluid will hopefully stay cooler towing with additional fluid reserve.
I did alone so no pictures during as don't touch phone with grease hands.
About 3/4in to 1/2in clearance to exaust.
I am unfortunately hearing exaust leak pass side with cold morning air 😕, why didn't want to remove so now I get to try adjust or buy new joint seals.
