Anyone Know How To Disable The Auto-door Locks?

Hi,

I'm a new Avalanche Owner 02, and wonder if anyone knows how to disable the auto door locks, i don't like this feature, it locks when you put the car in gear, or when you turn on the car sometimes. I would like to just disable it.

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Page 2-8 in your owners manual . . . or look it up in the PDF manual included in the resources section of the site. I forward you to the manual as it's a multistep process to get into the programming mode and the manual lists four different mode options.

not true. (sorry ygmn you are the nicest member I know, just had to correct the info ) had my batt disconnected a-plenty since changing the autolock option, no impact/no reset on the option I selected.

When it locks & unlocks.....Check the manual in the resource section...

Kinda neat but I stuck with factory which is unlocks when put back into park...and locks at speeds above 20mph
