Does it matter which i buy and from where?

I read the post of which store do yah use...but what about brand?  I saw a nock on Fram...so guessing to stay away from that!

Thoughts?TIA

I have cut lots open at work and delco's SEEM to have more pleats....some are really low in that department..

AC Delco, Fram sucks. I know in higher horsepower applications the inside of Frams collapse causing a loss of all pressure which equals oil not circulating though the motor which causes you to spend a lot of money :E:

I'm only worried about 285 hp

I noticed Frams are no longer made in USA but China (n)

I use a NAPA filter.  I purchased the cheaper one and simply replace it every 20K miles or so.

All fram filters suck I would use  motorcraft before I would put a piece of crap fram on my Av.  Napa filters are made by Wix to Napa specs the Gold are top of the line and for $15.  Anything but fram!!!
