Are The Cloth Buckets Gone?

I was on the chevy site checking out the price increase and noticed that there is no longer an option for cloth bucket seats. The sport cloth leather combo and leather is all that's avail.

Isn't this a drastic change for the same model-year?

You know, I don't know for sure, but that is interesting. Back when I was pricing and looking in February, I was really interested in the sport leather. Dealer kept telling me that when they built one to order, they didn't have the sport leather as an option.

I ended up finding a Z66 with the sport cloth buckets that I liked so bought it instead.

Just adding my two cents that there seems to be some confusion this year on what is available.

Where were you looking for cloth? The cloth was standard and if you went to the gm build your own there may only be options for the sport and full leather. If you don't check either box you will probably get the base, standard, cloth.

I almost went with the sport leather/cloth combo when I bought my Av....but later decided to go with the full leather seating.....I don't have any children yet so I didn't have the concerns that some other folks with kids did.....

It kinda adds a nice look to the Av....that would have been my second choice if I didn't get the full leather seats.....I really wanted the bun warmers and power seats...hence my decision. :)

the bun warmers and memory seats really made my deciding factor... I think all seats should be memory seats... how did I ever live without it?

When I bought mine in March there were 4 seat choices:

1- The base split bench with fur type cloth.
2- For $600+ sport cloth buckets with dual pwr seats. Also get rear A/C ducts from this option and the next two.
3- For $1100+ leather w/sport cloth inserts.
4- For $1400+ full leather w/heated seats.

What I was trying to point out was that #2 is no longer a choice on chevy's site. It's just gone.

That's odd, because when I go through, the $600 and $1400 seats are available, not the $1100 seats. I chose to start from the Z66 package - perhaps that's the limiting factor?

Just an fyi...

If I recall, the full bench cloth seats are what is standard. The first option up is the sport cloth bucket seats. There is a difference in the cloth used as well on the base bench cloth, 'vs' the bucket sport cloth seats.

Strange, I tried both base and Z66 and the $600 option is still gone. Maybe the difference is in the zipcode entered?

Yes they are different cloth. I have what you have, but chevy have no more, no more.

Ditto for me - and one of the main reasons why I didn't go with the North Face edition. No memory, no butt bakers, more bucks...
