Are these for real?

Well I really don't think the charge controller would have any benefit to our rigs unless you have some kind of wild setup with multiple batteries and lots of electrical add-ons like welders or inverters and such. The priority start is a good product and makes sense, but if you have an Avalanche it comes with an automatic battery sensor that will shut things down if you accidently leave them on so that there is enough juice to start it. Its a pretty intelligent system, assuming any mods you do don't affect the circuitry. All in all, I'd say both options you mentioned would be unncessary unless you have done some extensive electrical system mods.

Have a good one!!

I found these products online and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge or experience with them. And of course, I'm wondering if anyone thinks they would be beneficial to any of us?

Alternator Charge Controller

Priority Start
I installed priority start after having my battery changed twice by GM and having to jump the AV at least 4 times in the last month...yes I have some electrical mods, and the auto sensory that GM has doesn't seem to cut it off.....I don't put a lot of miles on the AV while I am working only 1/2 mile to work. Went to California for 4 days had to have it jumped in the airport parking lot, few weeks later came out of work dead again, next morning dead again...just got tired of it most of the electrical is on cut off switches, so I don't know where the drain is coming from...but before it got real cold here that I would do something about it....tested the priority start as per directions, left lights on in about 10 minutes it disconnected the power, hitting the brake pedal restored power....I even had the AV in for service this past week....cabin air filter, flush & fill, and a service engine soon light....the didn't even blink twice when they saw it, they were more interested in my wife demo of the strobes ;)
