I am about to pull the trigger on a '07 avalanche in black. Everyone is telling me that I am crazy for wanting a Black one because they are hard to keep up and that scratch real easy. So my question is, are you sorry for buying a black one?

Absolutely not. Just look around when you're out and about . . . . All three of mine (07/11/13) have been black.

Got a 13 LS. Yea it shows dirt but sure looks purdy when it's shiny

They really look great when they are clean and freshly detailed. I don't regret getting a black Av.

I just got a black Black Diamond edition, 2nd black AV. I had a gun metal gray north face but that's not an option anymore. In all, I've had a red, blue, pewter, gun metal gray and 2 black, by far my favorite.

I’m learning to like it, although a pain to keep looking good. I avoided black vehicles for years, but as a buyer of preowned vehicles it isn’t a dealbreaker. Plus I wanted the Avalanche I had a chance to buy.

Assuming the paint is still great looking I would just make sure it's in a garage away from the weather. The 2013 Black Diamond paint is remarkable, thick as heck. Is this the one you are buying? Shake the seller's hand.
