are you sorry you got a black one?

I am sorry that my checkbook was not big enough for a White one. Iv'e never owned anything black before. I am really liking it so far tho. (y)
 
love the black, that's the only reason I picked up mine when I did, if it wouldn't have been black I would have waited to find another one. there is just something about a black truck when it's all cleaned up and shiny that you can't get with any other cool, ya some might look really cool but you can't touch the class factor that black gives.
 
My 06 was Black with Beige interior and I loved it - so did everyone else.  When buying a 2013 last week the dealer was pushing a Silver one but I held out for Black, with the Gray interior, couldn't find one with Beige, and it's Beautiful!  (y)
 
I love the black. It is my first black vehicle. Now, if a loaded red LTZ had been available, I'd have gone for red again like my 05. Of the few available color choices, I liked the black one best.

I just have to get over that urge to wash it, daily.  :cool:
 
It honestly hasn't bothered me at all, looks pretty good even when coated in dirt from daily dirt roads.  Even though "Inferno Blaze Orange Metallic" is my favorite GM color,  I wouldn't be against buying another black avy.
 
Hi there.. I have black one and been searching for something that will keep the black as black can be..
So I purchased F11. I have never in my life seen such a deep black. I fall in love with my truck for the second time.
F11 guys is insane product and is water repellent. And is made in USA not some cheap knockoff..
They have even better product but is much more expensive i think is called crystaleen. i will try next time.
But best part of this product is I applied it twice in 24 hours period 2 month ago and not once went to car wash.
so if you have Black get the F11.
 
Many years ago after parting ways with my first truck ( 88 Toyota ) I swore I’d never buy another black vehicle because of the time and effort it took to keep it looking good. That all changed three years ago when I saw my 07 triple black Avalanche sitting on the lot. No regrets.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We have all black cars and they are as hard as any other color to keep clean, they may show dirt easier....But look way more BADASS than any other color
Go black and you'll never go back!
 
My first AV was an 2002 Z71 Indigo blue I love that color.It was a great color.

My second AV is a 2009 Black LTZ Black is hard to keep clean but it is definitely a head turner when it’s clean up.

I would definitely recommend a Black AV
 
Long before I ever bought mine, I was certain I was going to get a black one.

Somehow, I ended up with a White Diamond and a Victory Red.

I still keep my eyes open for a black or a blue one.

You never know.

Only owned my '08 for about two months but drove almost two hours away just to pick her up. No others in the area for the price point / mileage I was looking for. My last four vehicles have been black.

...So, to answer you question... No. I'm not sorry now and I doubt I'll be sorry later.

Heck no I'm not sorry, the black looks so good, I have a 2011 LTZ and love it!
 
Nah... this is my 6th vehicle in black... yeah it’s a pain to keep clean but when it’s clean black looks awesome!!

I'm in LOVE with mine being black. I have 0 regrets! It's a beauty
 
I wouldn't change mine. Tempted by red because it's my fav color, and the 1st Gen do look good in white with the cladding, but I'd keep the black. I really like the beige interior coupled with it, but after seeing some interior accents I could do maybe would have gone with black interior as well. It won't look good with the beige so not doing it.

Oh well, if I ever upgrade it will be an '09 with the 6.0 that will be red with the black interior so I can do the red trim accents then.
