I just got the good word - I can have Friday off! If I can line up a campsite, then I hope to be attending. The threads are way too long to re-read, so can someone sum it up for me (other than the itinerary) - what's "the" campsite for campers? Do I need to upgrade to supporting member to attend? Since I can't leave until after a phys. ther. appt. Friday AM, anyone know where I can catch up with the group? (leaving from Raleigh, not sure how long the drive is. I'll be taking my oldest boy with me, 10. I'll keep my eye open here for more info, and try to browse some of the threads as time allows. Thanks, I'm looking forward to this weekend!

There is a thread for "camping" that lists a site. No, you don't have to be a SM to attend. Just bring your AV!!! Check out the "convoy" thread to see if any other NC AV's are hooking up. See ya' this weekend.

Ugh... I *JUST* got home from work.

I'm so friggin exhausted, you guys have no idea.

But anyway, I'm about 12 hours behind on getting ready for Pigeon Forge... and it's raining like hell... like usual.

I'm making maps of the stores I need to go to, and will stop at them along the way there.

I'm still looking at leaving Wednesday, but it may be later Wednesday night. Tomorrow will be another marathon work day. Current estimated schedule puts me in Pigeon Forge around 3-4pm Thursday afternoon.

Hey David, sounds like we'll be in around the same time frame.....I had originally planed to work from home tomorrow and get things done around here but someone thought it was a smart idea to schedule a meeting for 4pm tomorrow ?!?! what were they thinking? :rolleyes: So I'll be pulling out a little later than I had thought on Thursday morning.

anyway, give me a buzz on my cell when you get into the area or on channel 8 ;D
 
I've got some bad news and some bad news :3: I was driving home from work yesterday and I noticed that when I hit my breaks my ABS system kicked in! I was taking it to the dealer and it did it again....I knew I was not going to be able to drive it all they way to Pigeon Forge like this....so....they were working on it yesterday and had to make a "speacial" run for me to get one of the 2 ABS sensors. They were supposed to finish it yesterday but have not heard anything. Hopefully they will have it done today so I can leave ontime Wednsday night! Life will end for me if I cant attend the ECRM! I will keep you updated :cry:
 
For anyone that's wondering there's a Walmart Supercenter, Pepboys and Hardees all very near the Holiday Inn.

I know I will be visiting all three several times a day while I'm there.

My 2000 Sonoma had that problem too, mostly at low speeds.

On the good news though, even though they couldn't reproduce it, they were able to fix it.

It was so chewep up that the wires were exposed....since I had the lift kit...warranty wont cover it and it's going to cost me over $300 to fix it :9:

Houston... we have flooding!

FL can get 6" of rain in an hour and be fine.

NJ gets 2" of rain in a day and people are freaking out and everything is flooded.

It looks like Tinman, PlanetAV, and Wiki are leaving Columbia SC about 7am!!!!! I got off from work Thursday and Friday!!! This is if Helen OK's us leaving that early!
