I may finally have my new Avalanche by Xmas and I need to find a member who posted a pic of their Arrival Blue WBH with some 20's or 22's that looked real nice! I've been looking for awhile but no luck.



I have been trying to search for images of Some '03/'04 Arrival Blue Avs. I have found a few but I was hoping Owners of Arrival Blue Avs could post some pictures or give the address of their photo album.


Also I think a new thread would be cool if we posted pictures of our Avs in a paticular thread that was designated with your color. For example a Victory Red picture Thread or a Dark Gray Mettallic thread, and so on and so on.

Hopefully I will be getting mine in afew days!!!!! Dealr trade!!! I had 2 Blacks and a DGrey metallic said they were avaliable only to have the deals between dealers fall through. I really never considered anything but those darker colors, BUt, I was told there was an Arrival Blue on e available so I did some reearch and saw one in person (silverado) boy the Chevy site does not do this color justice it is very nice !!!!

So hopefully by this ime next week I will be able to add my own picture to this thread.
 
Sweet deal. Grats ahead of time! Its the best color and look by far in my opinion...actually the salesman told me the same thing :p Hope you love yours as much as I do mine. After december/x-mas time..its mod time!
 
we have a member by the name of Musiks that has an '03 with 20's on it. look him up and see if he has pics.

hope Musiks and Miss AV don't mind me borrowing their pics. ;) it's for a good cause, so i'm sure they won't mind.
 
I just put 20s on mine. I do have cladding though.

In my opinion I don't really like the way wbh Arrivals
look its a bit too much blue. I like wbh in other colors
though like black or white.

aetatis: I like that look as well but since I am more of a stree truck guy vs. offroad I liked the WBH look, plus out here in the San joaquin VAlley it is realhard to find Cladding.

It look sreal good nonetheless!
 
When did you order your Arrival Blue.

I ordered mine Nov 12 and hoping the dealer would get invoiced by Dec 12th. I stopped by the dealer last Thursday and the lady that orders vehicles told me the manufacture of Arrival Blue was on hold until just this week. Of course she didn't know why.

The only thing I can think of is that they're trying to consolidate all of the orders for this color for one last run before Christmas break.

One of the managers told me that if they run out of a color that they are phasing out they won't reorder. It happened to him on a Corvette. Basically tough luck.
 
NOOSE!!!!!!!!! DAYUM that is one clean ride!!! I see a lot of potential with such a nice color! nOt too dark but not too light I'd bet Chrome just looks awesome on this color!!!!

i actually never ordered one I was looking for any of the dark metallic colors but here in Nor Cal They were really hard to get w/ all of the features I wanted!!! I was one trade away from having a blackWBH w/ everything I wanted but the other dealer backed out and took it to a suspension shop to get some aftermarket drop rims and exhaust. I missed it by a day!! So after an extensive searchof dealer lots and Avs in transit to dealer lots we came up with the arrival blue. I am thrilled to be this close to having it in my driveway.

1SM package- heated seats adjustable pedals, redundant controls etc
-locking rear diff
-Chrome assist steps
-Bose system ( I was not impressed with it's sound :6:)
-leather



i was really looking for one with the sun and sound package but you know the story. So I figured the money I saved by Not getting that sunroof and xm will be put to good use in getting me some 20's

not bad trade off IMHO
 
The Arrival Blue is actually pretty hard to find. Especially with the options that you want. That's why I ordered one.

Well almost. The tailgate is real but the door handles aren't real ...yet. I think that I did get burned on some EXT upper cladding. I payed but didn't receive the product. It's been almost 4 weeks. I was the dumb one this time. :8:
 
How lucky can one guy be?? When I arrived at my dealer to look at AVs December 9th, I told them I wanted the Z-71 option--that was my only demand. They had one Z-71--Arrival Blue WHB. Truthfully, I'd hoped to get the WHB option, but was willing to accept either choice.

I have gotten to love the Arrival Blue WHB that I bought one day after seeing it. I thought I was buying a 04 150, but after driving the AV, I changed my mind.

I'm happy I did.
 
BAD NEWS

Typical screw job by GM. The dealer told me today that my order had been rejected by the factory since they discontinued Arrival Blue 1 Jan 2004.

Duh, why else did I order it 12 Nov 2003. The morons never (make it ma?ana) built my vehicle. Now they say they need to cancel it or change the color.

Not sure what to do now. If I'd known this was going to happen I could have been looking around for an off-the-lot vehicle. Maybe I'll wait until 2005 to see what colors they come up with.
 
Oh man..what a load. I REALLY hate to hear that. Unfortunately chewing ass out would not get you anywhere but I would have to..thats ridiculous. Maybe you can get the dealer to look around for you and make them pay for the dealer swap because of the inconvenience. :( Really hate to hear that tho.. best of luck
