AV Window Decal...

Just ordered the AV window Graphic.(Decal) for the front window. Anyone else install one of these yet. Any hints? I have a passenger-side, upper-corner window-mounted car-phone ant. that I must work around, right about where the V will be.

Look for GOO posts in the Windshield decal threads he has the GM version....he should be able to help.

It's not tough at all. Just spray the back of the decal and the windshield with a little soapy water. Apply the decal and smooth out any bumps with a squeege or credit card.
Then just let it sit out in the sun and dry before using your wipers.

you might want to use a straight edge razor blade before to make sure there's nothing stuck to the glass - then clean it completely.

There's no need to use soapy water. Get a spray bottle (able to mist the water) and spray it onto your windshield lightly (too much water is not a good thing).

Best bet is to do this in the shade when the windshield is cool. Too hot and the water dries quickly and the decal is hard to work with.

Lay out the spacing - you can use a strip of masking tape to hold the decal down in the center and then work from one end across to the other.

Take your time and work your way across the windshield. Don't try to go fast.

Now, who is the source for the Avalanche decals

This is a GM decal, named the Avalanche Graphic. My local dealer says 35.00 for the Graphic. It is in the current Avalanche assec. catalog.
