Avalanche/EXT Sales For April 2002

7,029 Avalanches sold in the month of April. ?900 Cadillac EXT's sold in the same time period.

I want to know who was the FIRST and ONLY person to buy an Avalanche in April of 2001!!! ?

At the current run rate the General will sell 750,000 pickups in the C/K line up in 2002. ?That is not enough to over take the Ford F-150 as top dog in sales.

Another interesting tid bit. ?It seems as though the 2002 reskin of the Aztek has helped sales - with GM's ugly duckling posting a sales GAIN from 2001 in the month of April. ?It's far better looking twin, the Rendezvous is posting strong sales...

I would hope that all auto manufacturers are doing good. It would mean the economy is starting to recover.

Actually they are pretty much on target, 100,000 in the first model year, they are almost going to make it in spite of the terrorism and economy. The EXT numbers are a suprise, higher than expected, must be finally catching on.
