Was laying in the back seat (don't ask why) and saw that the 60% side of the 60/40 seat has two slits in it to hold your seatbelt clasps while you lift the seat.

For the longest time I was wondering how to hold those seatbelt clasps up while I did the ole switcheroo!!

Anybody find any new gadgets that are hidden??

If you have bucket seats you can remove the cup holders and there is a hole to put what ever you want.

PS the first time you rilly have to pull hard on the center of the cup holder.

Speaking of gadgets, can anybody tell me what the six loops on the back of cloth bucket seats are for? They are about 1 1/4 in. long, 1/2 in. wide nylon just on the outside of the elastic nets.
There is something very important that I am failing to utilize these for... Please enlighten me!! :cautious: ;D

Do you have a North Face edition? I think those loops would be for clips that are for attaching the two backpacks to the seat. If not NF then i don't know.

Very first question at dealer showroom was about
the six mistery loops on back of front seats...

STILL LOOKIN FOR enlightment!!!! ???

No North Face (unfortunately).. Just a Z-66 with cloth buckets. I would think that you hook something in them, but I sure can't figure out what!!

When I first started rock climing all my bags had the same set of loops on them. They were used to lock our rope to when transporting. You role your rope and use the c-clips attached to the ropes and clip it to the back of your front seats to keep your ropes tangle free. PS look at the add for the North-Face Av, it shows two people rock climing. Thats what I use mine for.

I saw a backpack with similar loops on it, they laced with cord to form a web for hold stuff, could this be similar and GM or the dealers just don't lace them? looks like it has a purpose like maybe a Z71/Z66 backpack could have been held there like in the Northface.

If you are talking about the bungy cord type material I think they are stabilyzers for child safety seats.

Sorry...just saw the picture in the other post...NOT for child safety seats. :-[ (y)

i'm a climber as well and those loops are the perfect size for b-ners. i would be carefull hanging stuff they might come off. the lace up idea is really good. i've done it to 3 packs so far and i love it. you can get cheap shock cord @ rei or any good outdoor store/outfitter

How do the backpacks attach to the Northfase edition seat backs?
The North Face backpacks are held to the seat backs by four nylon "fastex" connectors.
