I believe it's Salinos, Mexico.

Although I could be wrong!

Yep, it's in Mexico, should be on the inside of your driver's side door.

Its built in Silao Mexico. Right alongside the Cadillac EXT and some suburbans. It is the only plant that is tooled/supplied to make the AV/EXT.

I've noticed this too. What about that taco holder beside where the cup holders are......isn't that the best!

My gosh, you are Right!!! That is a Taco holder!! No wonder the mustard keeps dripping out of my burger when I put it in there!

Wonder when Americans are gonna start crossing the border going the opposite direction so that we can get jobs?? Not dissing Mexicans or their workmanship, just Corporate America. My wife is facing a layoff for the second time in less than a year cause her company is shipping jobs overseas to India. :8:

Corporate America isnt it great.
Funny how GM builds some of their highest priced vehicles in the lowest paying plant.
The profit margin on the AV-EXT-&SUBs built in Mexico has got to be the highest too.
I wonder how much a Silao,Mexico auto worker makes compared to a US UAW worker.

You don't want to get me started on this subject! The Delco Remy plants where I worked of 32 years and had as many as 16,000 employes are now down to just a few hundred! Fair Trade? I think it is that big sucking sound that Ross Perot talked about. I ended up buying the Avalanche and still feel guilty sometimes when I drive by those empty plants.
