That WBH AV need some side molding.

When I look all the WBH it look naked with out the cladding. It just doesn't look right. But like some of us learned when we all wanted to get the hood with scoops there are advantages the the WBH. The WBH has the front end of a Silverado. If you look at the front the head lights are above the bow tie line and the blinkers are below the bow tie line. the other difference is that when you open the hood, the latch to open it is under the hood instead of under the bow tie like the cladding ones are. I just think it doesn't look right. It is missing something to keep it from looking right bue I cna't put my fingure on it. On the WBH the hood is 2 inches longer I don't know if the whole front end is 2 inches longer.

I think it looks great! Just a little bit of material to dress it up and you have a winner. White is the least attractive of all the WBH colors. Black or
blue look better than any cladded av. Especialy with chrome wheels and door handles.

I think the front brush guard and tinted headlamp covers are the ugliest things I have ever seen on a truck. And Avalance written accross the windshield is a definite chick magnet(not) :9:

i don't have any problem with the WBH it looks better then I thought it would if you read my post I never said I dislike the WBH I just said I perfer cladding if they ever did away with the cladding totaly I would still own an AV. ?So hey! DON"T put down my AV I never put down yours. ?And I did not by an Avalanche for a chick magnet I got an AV because I liked it. ?And by the way I don't have tinted head lamp covers ?

Also Rollie66 You like the WBH I like the Cladding that is why they make 2 different AV's so they can please the both types of people.

Avalance I think rollie66 was talking about lordvader's AV.

Well he did say how AvaLance looks stupit on the windshield and I do have that logo and I do what the Brush Guard so I am not sure eather way I never put down his AV

Actually,
I never meant to put down your truck avalance. I have always liked the avalanche in both cladded and non cladded. My response was not meant as a put down of your truck. I believe it is quite nice. I much prefer the cladded white to the wbh white. What I was commenting on was the very erudite comments made by lordvader. That is the type of discussion that always gets me mad. Any comments I made were not directed towards your vehicle.
However, I really do not like the front brushguard. It just looks so out of place. If it is something that you would need depending on the type of driving you do that would be fine. I just dont like it for everyday driving. However if you like it that is what is important. We mod theses trucks really for our own personal satisfaction. If someone can specify why the do or do not like an option great. Simply writing that something sucks without any other commentary and then adding in the throw up guy is simply rude and shows a complete lack of any intelligence.

A bit ;) That's why I put the 'Burb moldings on.

Littel striping, moldings, colored door handles and it'll be the way GM shoulda done it. Probably need to replace the upper bumper cover with the paintable one as well.

I also appreciate that you took the time to post all those pictures. It was very nice and should have led to a discussion of what mods would make it look nice. Not just wbh sucks. You are a true fan of the Avalanche.

I'm surprised it took this long Lance. Although from the pics it looks like a relatively small Dealership. The one you got in is the worst possible example for a WBH. The White definitely needs the molding. Tell 'em they ought to put the molding on it even if not the flares. Even my LPM is pretty plain, though the decals did help. The darker colors can get by sans molding. Our DRLs are MUCH brighter, but more work to get to. Our Bowtie is PIA to get out...has nuts on it that you can't get to. I do like the Av front end better than the Silverado. The WBH is probably faster, no drag from the cladding and less weight. :)

Hey, this site is FUN!! :D

I think....there for I am....of the opinion that.....a major factor in what makes the Avalanche so bad ass is that it has the kick ass cladding. It is so beefy and gives this truck- suv- suburban-thing such an attitude. But the fact isl under it's surface it has loads of substance.

One point: The WBH has no rear corner step ups.

Let's just say the WBH is safe and conventional, and appeals to the same. That's fine with me. I LOVE this vehicle!!!!!

WBH just doesn't look right IMHO. Differnt strokes for different fokes. Maybe if they did something with the bumpers which I just don't like. I think the General should have better looking bumpers on all their trucks, AV's excluded of course ;)

AvaLance I hope you didn't think I was cutting it down. If you did I'm sorry. I was thinking since my last post (man I need to stop thinking it hurts when i do that). Can you park both next to each other and look at it. It kind of looks like the angles are a little different from the two styles. I just like to know the differences so if I'm asked a question I can anwser them.

yup we are a small dealer ship and only get like basic AV unless sold order (like mine) I keep trying to get my boss to order a loaded one but not much luck

I have to agree with most of other members... it looks naked. I would like to see a comparison of the WBH AV next to a Silverado Crew-Cab.

WBH looks naked for sure. WBH kind of looks like a big Sport-Trac. The cladding adds muscle. This is coming from a guy who went to the dealership originally looking for a WBH. If Chevy didn't come out with the WBH, I probably wouldn't have even gone to look at the AV as I was already set to buy a 2004 F150 Crewcab. I thought WBH would be just what I was looking for, but when they showed me the cladded black next to a WBH, there was no comparison. Cladded just looks meaner.
