Avalanche Z71 / Mountain Logos

Hi everyone,

Thanks to the prodding of some fine folks, I've come up with these:

They will be available in one color (top), two colors (middle) or 3 colors (bottom) - all availble in the color(s) of your choice.

I have yet to come up with pricing - but I can update this thread with the info when it's available. I hope to have these ready for purchase within a day or two on the web site.

That mountain would look awsome for the back window. Just take out the Z71 and make it a little bigger. :eek:.

Does anyone know the color to get for the C Pillar sticker if I wanted to match it to the cladding of my 02
 
Hey Powersurge, if you just want the decal for your back window, then get the standard Avalanche Mountain decal in the largest size, 6" x 19". As far as color, I would recommend silver metallic. If you want a closer match, contact Rich at StreamlineDescign via email. He is very responsive!

Jamie, Thanks for your response. I ordered them asking for that color and said that if they knew of a closer match to send me that instead. They sent me the color grey and it is way too dark. I think the color they sent me would match the 03 cladding perfectly.
I had thought about ordering the 6 x 19 but I have a cool American Flag there now that is grey. It perfectly matches the color of my cladding. Click my pics in my signiture to see them.

You could get the 4" x 12.5" and put one on each side of the flag! Hopefully Rich can get a gray color that closer matches the cladding for those wanting to match that color.

Is there a color chart somewhere on your site? I liked to see what some different color choices look like.

I would definitely be in for these. Would they be for the standard Z-71/Z-66 location or for back window application?

I could really use something for the back window. What about a huge one like the "Glass-scapes" that you can see through from the inside, but not in from the outside?

Can that be done with these?

These are intended for bedside installation replacing your current "Z" decal. These are high-quality vinyl decals so if you put them on your rear window, you'll have some obstructed viewing depending on size and placement.

I got an email from Rich and the new decals are available in 3 formats via his website, www.streamlinedesign.com.

From the streamlinedesign.com web page, I am adding this text to clear up any confusion or questions you may have: "The AVALANCHE logo is cut out of the ?Z? and the vehicle color also shows through as the lettering color. Background colors are shown here to represent the color and background of the vehicle. All colors shown here are simulated."
Dimensions: 13.5? wide x 3.75? tall.

These are sold in pairs. I went with gold metallic mountains, red "Z" and white "71." Will post results after "successful" installation.

Hey Jamie - did you order yet? I will likely order the same color combo since I have the same paint scheme as you. I was thinking of placing a red Chevy symbol on my back window, so that would match the red Z on the bedside decal. How hard will it be to remove the existing Z-71 decal?
 
These are really cool. I sent Rich an E-mail about making the Mountain logo (not Z66) bigger for the rear window. We'll see. I'd love to get that plus a pair of little ones for the pilars. Any one try the shade shift colors yet? I'm thinking of the blue/purple on a black AV. Any comments?

You know it man. Placed my order first thing this morning. I am assuming the stock decals shouldn't be too difficult to remove. Prior to removal, I am going to place a piece of masking tape along the bottom and forward edge as a guid for installation of the new decal. I am going to get the hair dryer back out and warm up the decal until it's hot to the touch. Then start peeling 'er back.

Something that may be of interest to some is that the Z, the 71, and the 66 were all designed using the existing Avalanche logo letters. ?The Z was made from the E believe it or not. After that the 7 was made from the Z, and the 1 was then made from the 7.

The 6 is made from a modified C from the logo.

You mean a 4X4 Z71?? Now That interests me as there are no 4X4 markings on my Z71

What Rich means, is "4x4" for the folks with a "4x4" Avalanche, not a Z66, not a Z71, but a 4x4. There are 2002 model year 1500 series models that are 4x4 emblazoned. In a sense of order for 1500 series, it goes 1500 4x2 (no decal), NorthFace (no decal), 4x4, Z66, Z71. ?These are in no means presented in any special order other than how I recalled them from memory.

This is totally different for 2003. According to the Chevrolet/Avalanche webpage, the only dog in the lineup with a side decal is the Z71.

Yeh... Your probably right about the clutter... I just didn't know if you had one with maybe a 4X4 "embedded" in the Z71 logo or something. That's all

Jamie.... Thanks for the info. I know they dropped the Z66 vinyl. I just didn't know if "anyone" had a Z71/4x4 combo out.
