I just happened to notice that the 6 disc indash changer w/ Bose and XM capability has a DVD icon in the display?? So what does that mean? Can this setup handle a DVD aftermarket player controlled via the factory HU.

i did notice this, im sure its the same hu they use if you order the dvd player instead of sunroof. Not sure if you could use it, but i would like to find out

with a DVD, and it does show up on the radio when you start playing a movie. The unit is a panasonic, but have not been able to find one from anyone.

I have the same radio and I am curious if it has an extra input that I can use for my XM. I am hoping to avoid using the FM modulator.
I sent an email to PIE and they said that they are not coming out with an '03 adapter anytime soon.

My 03 Has a DVD player. and u can hear the movie in stereo surround sound . I like it. I cant see the movie but I can hear it
